Questions you might have
- What if I forget my password?
- When you create your vault you get a recovery code, shown only once — write it down and keep it somewhere safe. It lets you reset your password.
- What if my cloud account gets hacked?
- Whoever gets in finds only scrambled data. Your files are encrypted before they leave your device, and without your password they cannot be opened.
- Does encryption make things slow?
- No. Photos open instantly and videos play as they decrypt — you can skip a 4K video to any point without waiting.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is nothing to sign up for — no account, no email, no servers of ours. Open the app, set a password, done.
- What if my password leaks?
- Change it — that takes a second and touches nothing else. And if you fear the worst, one tap rebuilds the whole vault under a brand-new key. It can be paused or interrupted at any point without losing a thing.
- Does the search AI look at my photos?
- Only on your device. The understanding happens on your phone's own chip — nothing is uploaded to be analyzed, and the search index it builds is encrypted just like your files.
